Refund Policy
Membership
IBRSC does not generally give refunds if you resign your membership or no longer need a berth you have paid for. If you feel your circumstances are special then please contact the membership secretary and/or commodore and we will review your situation.
If you made a mistake when renewing online then please contact the membership secretary so a refund can be issued, if appropriate. Refunds for fees paid by a Debit or Credit card can only be refunded back onto the same card.
Courses
RYA Courses
Failure to attend a course without notification will result in the course fee being forfeited. Refunds are not available to customers who start courses and subsequently choose not to continue.
Trysail Courses
A 75% refund is only available for the first two weeks of the course, if you have decided that sailing isn't really for you. After this, any refunds will only be made in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the course organiser.
Barnstormer Courses
Pro rata refunds are only available for the first two weeks of the course if you have decided that sailing isn't really for you. After this, any refunds will only be made in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the course organiser.
